Post Pandemi Covid-19 Tourism Recovery Efforts

Abstract
The COVID-19 pandemic has had a significant impact on the tourism sector worldwide. Tourism, previously one of the most developed economic sectors and a major contributor to global GDP, has seen sharp declines in tourist arrivals, income and employment during the pandemic. The aim of this research is to review the impact of Covid-19 which has resulted in the decline of the tourism industry sector in Indonesia and also to respond to Government policies so that the impact of Covid-19 on the tourism sector can be handled well and tourism returns to normal. This research uses a qualitative descriptive method and the data for this research is based on literature studies in the form of books, literature, journals, articles regarding the tourism industry, as well as how to recover it in the pandemic era. Foreign tourist visits based on data from the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy and BPS during 2022 reached 734.86 million trips. This figure grew 19.82% compared to the previous year. to Indonesia in August 2020 experienced a decrease of -89.22% compared to August 2019. Efforts to restore the tourism sector include 1) Use of Digital Technology, 2) Sustainable Tourism, 3) Virtual and Augmented Reality Tourism, 4) Digital Cultural Tourism, 5) Remote Destination Development, 6) Medical Tourism, 7) Creative Tourism, 8) Use of Big Data, 9) Use of Drones and Visualization Technology, 10) Industrial Partnerships, 11) Education and Training, 12) Ease of Accessibility, 13) Development of Tourism Villages.
