Abstract

This paper describes various perspectives on leadership. To then lead to servant leadership (Servant Leadership). Part of the science of Human Resource Management, leadership becomes and plays an important role, especially in the organizational context. In order for organizational goals to be achieved effectively and efficiently, a leader needs to apply leadership properly and correctly. Leadership plays a dominant, crucial, and critical role in the overall effort to improve work performance, both at the individual, group and organizational levels. Successful leaders are leaders who are able to manage an organization and are able to carry out leadership effectively so that organizational goals can be achieved. In the perspective of leadership in the organization there are two things, namely, leaders and servants. These two words have literally opposite meanings. But in the world of leadership, these two words are combined into one and form a new leadership style that is now widely applied in organizations and companies, namely servant leaders. A leader who has a servant leadership style will make himself a "servant" for all those under his leadership. All of this is done in the spirit of realizing the goals of the organization.
